The institute offers well-maintained hostel accommodation with triple-sharing rooms, attached/common washrooms, and essential furnishings such as beds, mattresses, study tables, cupboards, and Wi-Fi connectivity. Separate hostels for boys and girls ensure a safe and disciplined environment, located within walkable distance from the campus. Facilities include daily room cleaning, mess and dining services, power backup, 24/7 security with CCTV surveillance, common recreation areas.

The hostel provides hygienic vegetarian, non-vegetarian (with separate kitchen arrangements), weekly menu rotation. Student safety is ensured through round-the-clock security guards, CCTV monitoring, wardens for boys’ and girls’ hostels, and emergency support.

The above fee structure will be increased up to 10% for the academic year 2026–27.

The fees mentioned above are only for the First Year of the programme. Please note that academic & hostel fees can be increased up to 10% over the duration of the entire programme.

FAQ’s

  • How far is the hostel from the institute?

    All hostels are located within the campus and are easily walkable.

  • What are the room types and facilities?

    Available room types include dormitory, triple sharing, and double sharing. Each room is equipped with a bed, cupboard, study table, and chair.

    Common facilities include Wi-Fi, housekeeping, and 24×7 security.

  • Tell us about the food and mess facilities.

    Four meals are served daily: breakfast, lunch, evening snacks, and dinner. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options are available as per the mess rules.

  • Can you provide the hostel fee breakup in installments?

    Yes. The fee breakup is available on our website.

  • If we are local residents of Pune, can we get hostel accommodation?

    No. Due to limited seats, hostel accommodation is not available for students residing in Pune. However, we offer a paid bus facility covering 23 routes across the city.

  • We do not want the bus service and prefer hostel accommodation due to long travel distances. What should we do?

    You may send an official email request on Email id adminofficer@saii.siu.edu.in Your request will be considered depending on availability after cancellation if any.

  • Can we choose our room partner?

    No. Room partners are assigned by the hostel administration. However, you may request a change if any genuine issue arises.

  • We have paid the first academic fee and selected “Yes” for the hostel, but have not received the booking link yet.

    If you are a non-local student and selected “Yes” for hostel, you will receive the booking link on your registered email address. Kindly wait for the official communication.

  • We received the link but missed the payment deadline. Can we get an extension?

    Yes. You may email us at email id adminofficer@saii.siu.edu.in explaining the reason for missing the deadline. Your name will be placed on the waiting list and your request will be considered subject to availability.

  • We paid the hostel fee, but the receipt is not showing on the portal. What should we do?

    Please wait for some time (4-5 days) for the system to update. Alternatively, you may email the SAII Accounts Department to confirm your payment status.

  • We have received the receipt. When will we know our room details?

    Room allotments will be communicated at the time of hostel reporting, which is two days prior to the start of the academic session.

  • What items should we bring? What does the hostel provide? What are the hostel rules and regulations?

  • Is the hostel fee refundable?

    Yes, if admission is cancelled before the commencement of the course.

  • Is hostel accommodation available for all four years?

    Hostel accommodation in subsequent years is subject to seat availability and the academic record of the student.

  • What safety and security measures are in place at the hostel?

    The hostel ensures high standards of safety and security through:

    • CCTV surveillance
    • 24/7 security guards
    • Separate wardens for Boys and Girls
    • Security check at the main gate of each hostel
    • Lady guard at girls’ hostel (round the clock)
