Anti-Ragging Committee will be the Supervisory and Advisory Committee on matters of planning action for promoting and preserving a culture of Ragging Free Environment Campus.
Ensure compliance with the provision of UGC regulation 2009 at the institute level
Monitor and oversee the performance of Anti-Ragging Squads in prevention of ragging in the institution
Take appropriate action in case an incident of ragging is reported and inform University Anti-Ragging Committee
Make surprise raids on academic blocks, hostels, and other vulnerable places
Conduct on-the-spot enquiry/action into any incident of ragging
Maintain records of surprise visits in a register

To build self-esteem and dignity among girl students and women staff members.
To arrange services such as counseling and legal aid in case of atrocities against women.
To educate students and staff regarding women’s rights.
To evolve a permanent mechanism for the prevention and redressal of sexual harassment cases and other acts of gender-based violence at the Institute.
To arrange programs regarding health, personality development, etc.
To ensure the implementation of the policy in letter and spirit through proper reporting of complaints and their follow-up procedures.
Develop a responsive and accountable attitude among all the stakeholders in order to maintain a conducive atmosphere in the Institute.
Arrange to place suggestion boxes at different places within the Institute so that students can express their views and feedback freely.
The committee meets at regular intervals to discuss and resolve grievances, if any, received in writing from concerned students or through anonymous representation.
Maintain the minutes of the meetings.
Convey the decision of the committee to the aggrieved students in writing.
